Shipping & Delivery Policy

Relevant Legal Framework: Sale of Goods Act, 1930; Carriage by Road Act, 2007; Consumer Protection Act, 2019; Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1. Delivery Areas
KAALI~KRAFT delivers across India through its network of trusted courier partners, including:
- Delhivery
- BlueDart
- DTDC
- India Post (Speed Post / Registered Parcel)
- Other regional partners as needed
Some PIN codes may be temporarily or permanently unserviceable. Customers will be notified at checkout if their address cannot be served.
2. Order Processing Timelines
2.1 Made-to-Order Products
Pickles, podis, and flours are prepared fresh after Order confirmation. Standard preparation time is 3–5 working days. Total dispatch timeline: 5–8 working days.
2.2 Cold-Pressed Oils
All oils undergo a mandatory 5–7 day natural settling and filtration process before dispatch to ensure clarity and remove sediment. Total dispatch timeline: 7–12 working days.
2.3 Buffalo Ghee
Ghee is prepared in batches. Standard dispatch timeline: 3–5 working days from Order confirmation, subject to stock availability.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on:
- Destination PIN code
- Total package weight
- Package dimensions / volumetric weight (whichever is greater)
- Prevailing courier rates
Exact shipping charges are displayed at checkout before payment. Free shipping may be offered on Orders above a stated threshold; the threshold will be visible on the Website.
4. Delivery Timelines (Post-Dispatch)
Once dispatched, estimated transit times are:

These are estimates only. Actual delivery times depend on courier partner performance, weather, festivals, and other factors beyond our control.
5. Order Tracking
Once your Order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email and WhatsApp. You can track your shipment directly on the courier partner’s website using this number, or via the “My Account” section on kaalikraft.com.
6. Delivery Attempts and Failure
- Most courier partners attempt delivery 2–3 times before returning the package.
- Customers are advised to ensure someone is available at the delivery address during business hours.
- In case all delivery attempts fail and the package is returned to KAALI~KRAFT, we will notify you. A re-delivery charge may apply for re-dispatch.
- If you choose to cancel after a failed delivery, the product cost (excluding shipping and any return-to-origin charges) will be refunded.
7. Package Damage or Loss in Transit
If your package arrives damaged, leaking, or with broken seals:
- Do NOT open or accept the package.
- Refuse delivery and ask the courier executive to mark the package as “damaged”.
- Notify KAALI~KRAFT within 24 hours via WhatsApp or phone.
- Provide photos and video evidence of the damaged package and its contents.
If accepted in good faith and damage is discovered after opening, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photo / video evidence. Claims raised after 24 hours may not be entertained for hygiene-sensitive food products.
8. International Shipping
KAALI~KRAFT does not currently ship internationally. We deliver only within India.
9. Force Majeure
KAALI~KRAFT shall not be responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government action, transport strikes, courier disruptions, civil unrest, or other force majeure events.
